Kinkaid Lake Illinois Cliff Jumping

Kinkaid Lake Illinois Cliff Jumping

This cliff jump was high enough that you had time to consciously realize that you were in the air.

We started by driving to Kinkaid Lake in Illinois and going on a short hike to the cliffs. When we got there we calculated that the cliffs were up to 50 feet high (probably an overestimate due to air resistance) and jumped off near the top.

We jumped off many more times as well as kayaked and relaxed by the lake. We did a good deal of waiting for other people to finally jump as well.
