A DAY IN DRY TORTUGAS NATIONAL PARK | Fort Jefferson and snorkeling in Florida Keys
On a recent visit to Key West, we did something that Halef has always wanted to do – we went to Dry Tortugas National Park, the last chain of the Florida Keys islands.
To get to Dry Tortugas, we boarded a ferry – the Yankee Freedom III – for a few hours and made the 70+ mile journey to the group of islands.

In this video, you’ll see what that journey was like and some of the stuff we did on the main island that day.
If you want to know more about how to plan your Dry Tortugas trip, we’ve written a guide.
